Willamette Apprentice Ballet, Inc., is a 501(c)3 non-profit student ballet company. Founded in 1995 by Catherine Levi, the company became a non-profit organization in 2007.

The mission of the Willamette Apprentice Ballet is to educate our dancers in the discipline and beauty of classical ballet, and to share our work with the community by:

-providing affordable dance concerts of the highest quality to local audiences;

-providing professional-quality performance experiences for our dancers;

-to provide a welcoming, high-quality education in classical ballet technique and repertoire, as well as exposure to new repertoire created by experienced teachers and choreographers;

-creating exciting collaborative performances with other artists and non-profits, integrating live music and theater with dance.

Our Education Endowment was established in 2016 for these educational and charitable purposes:

-To sponsor prestigious guest teachers to work with the student dancers of Willamette Apprentice Ballet, Corvallis Academy of Ballet, and other local dance studios;

-To provide tuition scholarships based on talent, drive, and financial need to Willamette Apprentice Ballet dancers.
